Using a fine applicator, a high-strength trichloroacetic acid (TCA) solution is placed precisely into the base of each individual scar – never across the whole face. Because only the scar itself is treated, surrounding skin is left intact and healing is quick: the treated spots frost white, then form small scabs that fall away in five to seven days. TCA CROSS causes a brief stinging. For CO2 laser we apply strong numbing cream, and most clients describe a warm prickling sensation.
Can scars be removed completely?
Scars cannot always be erased completely, but they can be significantly improved, often by 50–80%, making skin smoother and scars far less noticeable.
Who is not suitable?
Not suitable during pregnancy, with active acne or infection, recent isotretinoin (Roaccutane) use, a tendency to keloid scarring or certain darker skin types for some treatments. We assess you fully first.
